CHILD LABOR -- 2

Child Labor began to be considered a human rights issue and became an issue of public dispute, when the foundation of universal schooling was laid. Historically the transformation came with the industrial revolution and the emergence of concepts like children’s rights and worker’s rights. Child labor is widely prevalent in some form or the other, all over world.

According to the statistics given by International Labor Organization there are about 218 million children between the age of 5 and 17 working all over the world. The figure excludes domestic labor. The most condemned form of child labor is the use of children for military purpose and child prostitution. Child agricultural works, child singers and child actors outside of school hours during season time are more acceptable by champions of human rights and law. The phenomenon of child labor is a complex development issue worthy of investigation. The fact that vulnerable children are being exploited and forced into work, which is not fit for their age, is a human rights concern now. India and other developed and developing countries are really plagued by the problem of child employment in organized and unorganized sectors.

The child goes to work instead of school. The future of the child is dawned because of this. An education is the only thing which can make the younger generation to compete in this world. Government is concentrating on Child Education and their welfare. But still there are many kids are working in small industries, hotels and doing small business.

Most of the children want to go to school not to job. Many of them are interested in Becoming computer engineers. They want to learn many things and travel around the world. Many kids wanted to earn more money so that they afford a good life for their Kids.

I used to think why there is so much difference in this world. Only few children get the education when the rest has only the dream. Is it correct? Why god has not helped them. Why he has not given the wealth for the child’s family for the education purpose. Many of them say it is their Fate. God has given The Power and wealth to other humans who have to take care of the kids.

Yes, we can change it. We can sponsor for them for their education. I have seen many children welfare association does it. We, the Humans must come forward to put an end to the child labor and show those kid a way for a better education.

One of dream is to help kids for their education. I won’t let this one just as a dream. I will fulfill it. Come on, let us all come forward to help those kids who really need of it.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being.
